New Residuals Album in the Works

After four years of introspection and staff changes, The Residuals have figured out what they’re all about, and they’re ready to share more music with the world. Plug thine ears, lest the resounding “woot” deafen thee.

The album will seek to define our genre, Prairie Celtic, and I’m proud to say that we plan to include several compositions of mine: the songs “The Maple Tree”, “My Town”, “Way Down Here”, and “A Long Time Gone”. There will also be a few tunes I’ve written: “The Missing Head”, “Get That Cat Outta Here”, and “Brene Brown’s Hornpipe.”

More updates to come!

The Playford Suite to be performed at Dimensions with Free Flow Dance

After nearly two years, The Playford Suite, a composition of mine, is ready to be performed in its entirety, with dancers, at a Free Flow show. The show is called “Dimensions”, and for three excellent performances, Jennifer Bezaire and Kyle Severson will be dancing to my music. With me onstage will be an incarnation of Mac Talla Quartet. I am thrilled to see so much talent – musicianship, dancing, choreography, and love – applied to my music. Our performances will be the culmination of all our effort. Come see!
